The Queen’s Head

This portrait is smaller than Hotel Perpetua, it is A3 size which presented a challenge because it is only 50 blocks, or 50 storeys high (each line of pixels is a ‘floor’ in the building). I chose this size to see how small I could get and still retain an essence of the portrait. This portrait was also more challenging because it is a museum maze and not just a collection of small rooms like hotel Perpetua was. Having to draw different rooms for EACH area of the drawing and conform to the maze idiom was very difficult however I am very happy with the final result. You have to stand quite a distance away to see the queen’s head clearly. Please feel free to zoom into the images in the usual way.
